Lee Lindsey is not your average musician. She is also a single mom and savvy entrepreneur - but she wasn't born that way - it came from true blood, sweat and tears. Her story begins in Des Che'nes, Quebec, where at 15, Lee decided to leave a volatile home-life with guitar in hand to explore the world. From Toronto to Hamburg, Ibiza and London, England, Lee spent her teenage years modeling and acting. After a failed marriage to a successful London fashion executive, Lee took her 2 true loves - her children - and decided to start life over as a songwriter and musician. She knew if she wanted a successful career, she'd have to do it herself.

Having recently moved from London to Vancouver, BC, Lee is in the process of duplicating her London success - Tall Poppy Presents... Lee Lindsey and Friends showcases. This weekly event showcased unsigned artists and received high praise from many in the industry. The night ran with great success for 3 1/2 years and has since been revived with the "Best of" series of shows that runs every 3 months at the prestigious Bush Hall in London. Now she is bringing Tall Poppy showcases to both BC and Alberta.

And she's not finished yet. Lee's vision is to empower her own career as well as that of her peers in the independent music community. Her Tall Poppy Records label is set up to do just that, with new artists and albums to be announced in 2006. Lee's vow is to bring music with honesty and value to the biggest, most international audience possible.
